Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026. This policy describes how Synergy Audio Video Systems collects, uses, and retains personal information through this website, and the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
This website uses no analytics, no advertising technology, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or session recording. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not know who reads these pages unless you choose to contact us.
We collect personal information only when you submit it through a form on this site. Depending on which form you use, the categories collected are identifiers and contact details, including your name, email address, telephone number, and the address of the property concerned; commercial information describing the work you are enquiring about, including the system, the fault, the stage of construction, and any budget range you choose to provide; and professional information, where you identify yourself as a builder, architect, or designer. Free-text fields contain whatever you write in them, and we ask that you do not include sensitive personal information in them.
We use that information to respond to your enquiry, to arrange and carry out work you request, and to maintain a service history of systems we have installed. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because we do neither, there is nothing for you to opt out of. We do not send marketing communications you have not asked for.
Information you submit is stored on servers we control, hosted by DigitalOcean, and a copy of each enquiry is delivered by email through Resend to a Google Workspace mailbox. Those three providers process information on our behalf, under contract, for the sole purpose of providing those services, and are not permitted to use it for anything else. We do not otherwise disclose personal information to third parties, except where required by law.
This site sets no cookies for visitors. It stores a single value in your browser so that the opening animation plays only once; that value remains on your device, is never transmitted to us, and identifies nothing. Members of Synergy staff who sign in to the content management system receive a session cookie, which exists solely to keep them signed in.
We retain enquiries and service records for as long as the client relationship continues, and afterwards for as long as is reasonably necessary to service systems we installed, since a system may need attention many years after it was built. You may ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and the purposes for which it is used, to request a copy of it in a portable form, to request that inaccurate information be corrected, and to request that it be deleted. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights, and we will not. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of sixteen.
To make a request, or to ask any question about this policy, email support@synergy.tv or telephone (714) 505‑2003. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request concerning personal information, and we will respond within forty-five days as required by law, and usually sooner. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.
