Remodel

While the walls are open.

A remodel runs anywhere from paint and cabinetry to studs. How much we can do follows how far yours goes. The cheapest moment to add anything is while a wall is already open.

How it works, start to finish
01A consultation, on site or at the showroomIf there’s a plan set we can work from the drawings at the showroom. If there isn’t, a technology designer comes to you. Either way we look at what’s coming out as much as what’s going in. What’s being opened decides what is possible.Free · 60–90 min
02A real budget, before you owe us anythingNo design retainer, same as a new build.1–2 weeks
03We design to the scope you’re already doingWhere a wall is coming down anyway, we use it. Where one isn’t, we’ll say so rather than find a reason to open it.Per scope
04We work around your trades, in a house you live inDust control, daily cleanup, and a crew who take their shoes off.Per scope
05We stayThe system stays ours to maintain for as long as you own the house.Ongoing

Ours is mostly cosmetic. Is it worth a call?

Usually yes, and the call is short. Even paint and cabinetry touches the things you press. Keypads move with a wall. A kitchen is where half the house’s switching tends to live.

If the honest answer is that there’s nothing worth doing, that’s what you’ll hear. We’d rather tell you that now than find a reason to be involved.

Are we a match?
Works bestYou know roughly how far the remodel goes, and there’s still time to talk before the walls close again.
HarderDrywall is already going back up. Not impossible, but the options narrow quickly from there.
